Tamil school process

Help the kids to learn Tamil Language for a minimum of 10 years from age 3 to 13 with grades, Preschool 1 to Grade 8. 

More than 300 students registered for this academic year 2023-24. 

Run by volunteers with a huge team, consisting of Director, 6 Principals, 39 Teachers, 13 Teaching assistants and 20 Substitute teachers. 

Conducts events regularly every year like Meet the teacher, Books distribution, Teachers Orientation/Parent Orientation, and Graduation Ceremony like any other public/charter school. 

ITA curriculum is taught for 32 weeks (about 7 and a half months) in each academic year using the Teachers/Students handbook with Monthly tests/Project presentation conducted regularly. 

To grow reading, writing, and speaking skills in Tamil, the homework and class syllabus consists of reading/writing exercises and conversation. 

Apart from following structured curriculum of ITA each week, competitions for speech and essay writing in Tamil language are conducted. 

Final exams will be conducted to promote students to the next grade. 

Graduated students are given the opportunity to become teaching assistants with volunteer hours given for their participation.
