Homework submission - What to do?

1. Follow instructions in the students handbook PDF / LMS for homework

2. Write the homework in the notebook with section numbers

3. Bring the homework notebook to class when it is due

4. Conversation audio: Upload in LMS before it is due

5. No need for reading or conversation logs - no signatures, no upload in LMS

Due and Delays to turn-in

1. Homework and conversation audio is due the following class 11 AM Phoenix time

2. If the student does not turn in the homework notebook and/or conversation audio, the teacher will mark zero for the specific homework/conversation audio in ITA for them

3. If a student is absent on the due date and hence can’t turn in, they get a 0 until the homework is turned in the next class; applicable only for the absent students and only following week (week +1) submission

4. Homework scores will not be updated in the ITA system beyond that week (due week for students that showed up and week+1 for the ones that were absent)

Evaluation

1. Homework evaluation would be done at the classroom in the notebook by teachers/TAs

   • Review comments will be written about the homework by the evaluating teacher in the notebook

   • Update marks in ITA for the student

2. Conversation audio

   • Conversation audio score will be updated in ITA after listening in LMS

Note: Scores will NOT be updated in LMS
